Personally I feel that the fights were too easy this episode. Even if the fights with pack members weren't that hard, it'd be a shame if the boss fight was this easy next episode. The difficulty is also apparent in Aki's ability, in which his weakness only switches between attacks that Alula has, when more weaknesses have been shown, which is a shame because an ability like that really had a lot of potential. :P

JackAstral responds:

Yeah, I just got a little scared to make the fights too hard, because I think a lot of people were put off by them in the last episodes...I'll make sure to make the finale nice and difficult !

Well, this game has some promise but there are a few obvious flaws.

Right off the bat, you're given no idea on how you're meant to control the ball. No tutorial is given, and this is quite frustrating. Especially because of the death counter. Having a low amount of deaths gives a sense of accomplishment, and if you're given no instructions on how to play that feeling is going to be diminished pretty quickly.

Speaking of deaths, the fact that you can die within a second of spawning seems very unfair. There should be a single safe platform just under your spawn point. Kind of nit-picky, but it's still valid. Also, once you spawn you move down WAY too fast!

And the controls. While still, they're far too sensitive. Just the slightest brush of an arrow key can send you hurtling towards a wall at a speed faster than an average shopper on Black Friday (if you'll pardon the pun :) ), yet once you've gained momentum the controls aren't nearly responsive enough - causing me more than my fair share of deaths. Adding on to this, once you stop moving in a direction by pressing the opposite arrow, you have a split moment to let go, or you're flat against the wall. This is a huge problem, especially in the first stage - where the walls are pretty tight for the controls.

Overall, an...okay game. Not unplayable, but not really the most enjoyable. It was good in theory, but needs some work in practice. :)

MitchellProductions responds:

The ball may sometimes move on its own because the game sometimes thinks you're holding down a key. Sometimes you just need to press all the arrow keys one at a time and the ball may become controllable again. This problem is not very common, and can happen on almost every game that is controlled with the keyboard.

I'm sure this is a great game and all, but whenever I try to play I can't. All I can do is click: New Game for all of eternity. Do you know why this happens?

Miroko responds:

I'm not sure why this happens maybe go try playing some other flash games and see if it still happens.

This is an interesting concept, but it might be a little tricky to pull off.

First of all, I understand that this is a work in progress - but the first 3 (and only) 'puzzles' implemented into the game thus far are simply: ''Push the domino and win'' as opposed to being an actual puzzle.

I'd normally make extremely negative remarks about the 'puzzles', but as this is a work in progress I'll let it slide. I recommend making at least one stage with an actual puzzle soon, though.

I appreciate you leaving your feedback for my game. This project has been a school project that I have been working on for the last couple of months. I went from basically knowing nothing about Unity to creating this. And I am proud of what I have accomplished so far. Since like I said it was a school project, i had a lot of limited time to work on it. And I didn't get all the features in that I had hoped. And while the basic core of the game is there, I understand that there is a lot of room for improvement. I do plan to continue working on this. And I do use all the feedback I get from you guys, so i can improve as a developer. When I do get things finished, I hope that you come back. I made my game so people who enjoy puzzles can play. And I wanted to personally thank you for your patience and understanding.

Creativity Over Reality Games

This was just like every other Madness character creator...until I found out you could make your guy N.Cortex or N.Gin. So...HOORAY CRASH BANDICOOT REFERENCE! Now I want to reference the third game.

1999Elias responds:

There are 5 references hehehe (for now d:).

It's okay, but could be better.

The sprites are well made and so are the animations.

The scene, however, was limited and so was the space. The game got boring very fast.

Over all, a good game. It's not the best it could be though.

I enjoyed this game, but there were a lot of things wrong with it.

There were a lot, and I mean A LOT, of glitches near the tutorial area.

Gameplay- The gameplay was good for the most of the game, but on the final boss the controls were laggy as hell!

Puzzles- The puzzles were simple enough, apart from the first puzzle involving two cow copters. The third cow's position was downright cruel and made the puzzle consume a lot more time thanit should have.

Graphics- The graphics were nothing special, but they weren't bad...I suppose.

Enemies- The enemies were simple enough. Cows, Suicide cows, Floating cow head boss, Cow cannons, The cow AA gun and the Cow copters.

EggysGames responds:

Not sure what kind of glitches near the tutorial area?

A good game, but it needs a lot of work. I found the controls a little sluggish, and the challenges were...well...challenging. A little over the top though. Anyways, if you work more on this game, then it will be amazing!

Akubis responds:

I 'll take your advice on making the challenges easier when I have the time. Sometimes I forget how hard the game can be after testing it a bunch of times.

I originally meant for the challenges to be completed after going through a level at least twice. Yea, that's a terrible idea from a newbie game developer.

As for the sluggish controls, I'll check it out. Not sure of the exact problem yet.

This isn't a good game, but it isn't bad either! It does, however, need the ability for the enemy to block or have better AI, as I found I could win by just spamming the 'H' button. All it needs is a few updates and more attacks for it to be a great game!

doktoriap responds:

Yeah thanks for the comment and I still haven't finished it, I am on my third version now, hopefully I can add more variety to the AI's attacks too as well as block (and crouch to dodge high attacks) or I may make it two play which may be easier.
